CURRENT TAM STUDENTS - 2026-2027 COURSE REQUEST INFO:
Tam HS students must be enrolled in at least 6 classes but may choose up to 8 (some classes, such as Jazz Band and Stagecraft are offered before or after the regular school day as a 0 or 8th period). Schedules are created based on requests, space availability, and period offerings; additionally, some courses utilize prerequisites to determine eligibility for enrollment. Remember:
- Course requests are not guaranteed; be thoughtful when choosing your alternate courses
- Taking two or more AP/Honors classes requires a significant amount of time, energy, and commitment. Consider your extra-curricular activities and responsibilities as well as your areas of interest and strength when choosing a rigorous schedule; create a balanced schedule for *you*
- We cannot accommodate change requests if you change your mind after the scheduling window closes. The only changes considered will be for: inappropriate placement/wrong level, computer errors, missing period/holes in your schedule, or graduation requirements. Please be thoughtful about your choices now.
**The 2026-2027 Course Request portal will be open from Friday, January 16th through Friday, February 6, 2026 **
